Applekings Win in OT at Home
The Applekings make 3rd period comeback to force Overtime and eventually win on the back of a Logan Blaser OT winner just 15 seconds into the extra frame. 

The Applekings win with a penalty filled end to the game in their 13th game against Milverton in the last 13 months. 

The 4 Wheel Drives got on the board with 6 minutes left in a mostly uneventful 1st period off a goal from Brendan Schneider. 

The second period got going pretty early with a Milverton goal 2 and half minutes in by Curtis Butler. Former Milverton forward, Evan Buehler got the Applekings on the board a minute later with his 3rd of the season, assisted by Mackenzie Fleming and Noah Rowland. The Applekings controlled the play after they potted their first goal, however it was Milverton who scored next, making it 3-1 on a goal by Liam Buckley. The Applekings responded 3 minutes later on a goal by Matthew Salituro with his team leading 5th goal on the season, assisted by Neal Ross and Kevin Shuttleworth. 

The 3rd period was ALL Applekings from start to finish. With, 4 minutes to go Brennan Watson of Milverton received a match Penalty for head checking, with an attempt to injure penalty.... however, the play ended up with both teams even and both teams receiving two penalties each. About a minute later, Applekings D Tyler Zeggil received a fighting major, along with an Aggressor and Instigator that put the Applekings down a man for 7 minutes. 

This last play seemed to get the crowd and the players excited though, as off the ensuring faceoff Mitchell Good was able to strip the puck off a Milverton Defenceman to force a shorthanded 2-on-0 and fed it to Austin Ulett for the game tying goal with 3:45 remaining in the game. Regulation time ended with both teams tied up at 3 a piece.

The Applekings made quick work of overtime on home ice and Logan Blaser played hero with his first of the season on a beautiful misdirection play at the blue line left him wide open in the slot and he found the net on a low blocker shot, assisted by Matthew Salituro and Austin Ulett. 

Allan Menary got his 4th win of the season in net as the Applekings improved to 4-2-1 on the season and 3-1-0 on home ice. 

The Williams Outdoors Player of the Game on this night goes to the OT goal scorer, Logan Blaser, who also had a strong defensive effort throughout the night.
