The Applekings Youth Hockey Fund is about creating more opportunity for kids in the Georgian Shores Minor Hockey area.

To better the lives of those in need by allowing them to get into hockey.

A selection committee will go through all applications for the upcoming season and ensure the funds are given to those that most need it.
Guidelines:
- Must be a player or prospective player in the Georgian Shores Minor Hockey system OR someone living in Meaford or Thornbury looking to play girls hockey for Collingwood or Owen Sound.
- The primary applicant must be at least 18 years of age (this means the parent/guardian must apply)
- You may apply each season.

Q: How many children receive help from the Appleking Youth Hockey Fund?
A: We will ensure that we help as many children as we can each season.
Q: Will my child's season be totally covered with the Applekings Youth Hockey Fund?
A: One lucky player each season will have the entire cost covered by the Applekings Youth Hockey Fund. The remaining funds allocated for the season will be given to as many kids as possible to cover their registration fees.
Q: What type of costs will the Applekings Youth Hockey Fund Cover?
A: The fund will cover such things as; Registration Fees, Travel Costs, Equipment Costs and Tournament Fees.
